What should I wear for my corporate headshot?

Accepted Answer

Stick with clean, well-fitted clothing that reflects your industry.  Solid colors tend to photograph best, while busy patterns can be distracting. If you're unsure, I’ll guide you before your session so you show up looking ready for the job you want.

How long does a corporate headshot session take?

Accepted Answer

Most corporate headshot sessions take 30 minutes or less but we're never in a rush.  Your session includes up to one hour of studio time.  We can take our time or get you in and out if you have a busy schedule.

Do you help with posing and expression?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Most people aren’t used to being in front of the camera, and that's ok.  I'll coach you through everything to make sure your posture, angle, and subtle expression are on point.  It's my job to make you look incredible on camera.  Relax, I've got this.

Where do I go for my headshot session?

Accepted Answer

Individual headshot sessions are done at my studio located at 805 Torrance Blvd. in Redondo Beach, CA 90277.

How quickly will I receive my photos?

Accepted Answer

That's the best part.  You'll be able to review your photos and make selections for purchase immediately!  Or, if you prefer, I can send you a proof gallery.  In most cases, I can have your selected images retouched and delivered within hours.

How will my headshot be delivered?

Accepted Answer

Your headshot will be delivered to you in an exclusive online gallery for you or your company to download.  You'll receive a full-scale high-resolution headshot as well as a portrait crop.

Do you retouch the images?

Accepted Answer

Yes, unless you prefer I don't.  Typically, every selected image is meticulously but lightly retouched to make sure you look your absolute best, but still look like you.

Can I use my headshots on LinkedIn, social media, business cards, and email signatures, and conference material?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely.  Your headshot will look amazing as a round LinkedIn profile image.  You'll receive two different crops to make sure your headshot fits where you need it to.

Can my employer use my headshot on company websites and team pages?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely.

Question 10

Can my company use my headshot in a paid advertising campaign?

Accepted Answer

Not under this limited license. Advertising, product marketing, billboards, print campaigns, and other promotional uses require an extended commercial license.  I'm happy to provide a quote for extended commercial-use licensing at your request.
